Christmas isn’t a season, it’s a feeling. I thought I would write a blog post […]
“Life is full of choices, Loving you isn’t one of them – I have no control over that.”
The inspiration behind this shoot is showcasing two grooms in a classical and elegant way with a modern twist with a Downton Abbey influence. We decided to use a real-life couple, Maximilian and Elie to bring the romantic feel to life. The chemistry between the two grooms was effortless and heart felt which was captured in the photos.
It was great to be invited along to this styled shoot, it was all pretty last minute so didn’t really have a lot of time to prep but I think my balloon arch was quite impressive, I just love working with chrome balloons, it was a great frame to showcase such a wonderful cake by Tiny Sarah’s Cakes, you know she gets her inspiration from tattoos, she painted the flowers on, so much time went into it, it’s vegan too! I hope you agree it was beautiful.
So the day of the royal wedding, we were at Teston Bridge Country Park, Kent, with Jacob, Danielle and The Glitzy Balloon Company’s giant yellow balloons, what a prop for a couples photoshoot, the day was perfect, so warm and sunny and my balloons looked so vibrant and gorgeously sunny too, just loved the tassles, they definitely drew a lot of attention. the pictures are wonderful compliments of a friend of mine, Michaelangelo https://www.bymichaelangelo.co.uk/ he’s a great photographer that I used to work with in a completely different field (Travel).
My first ever photoshoot and I am very happy to say that it was published in The English Wedding Blog and featured on their website 3rd November 2018, so keep an eye out for the article! It’s very exciting for The Glitzy Balloon Company to be featured for wedding balloon styling, as I used bespoke balloons to fit the decor of a country manor house.
Absolutely loved being part of this vibrant styled photoshoot, Willow Barn is such a beautiful venue in Woodchurch, Kent, it’s privately owned and entirely yours on your special day as a blank canvas, with the option to choose your own entertainment and other wedding services, you have the flexibility to create the perfect wedding reception. Ideal for that small and intimate wedding. The barn is wonderfully open plan, creating endless opportunities to design your special day.
