St Clements Styled Photoshoot

Absolutely loved being part of this vibrant styled photoshoot, Willow Barn is such a beautiful venue in Woodchurch, Kent, it’s privately owned and entirely yours on your special day as a blank canvas, with the option to choose your own entertainment and other wedding services, you have the flexibility to create the perfect wedding reception. Ideal for that small and intimate wedding. The barn is wonderfully open plan, creating endless opportunities to design your special day.

Our special guest star was Bumble the VW Campervan, the sunflowers looked so amazing on the front bumper, what with that and a giant yellow balloon, it was picture perfect. Bumble is one of seven Campervans that Buttercup Bus Vintage Campers have in their fleet, they are based in Croydon and can be hired for wedding transport or a funky Campervan photobooth service.

Our model Lea modelled two stunning dresses by The Bridal Boutique of Jules with two very different looks – including a relaxed boho style and a more traditional dress with lace detailing and veil, she looked so beautiful compliments of Sinsational Lox for hair and Gilly Church for make up.

Our props where compliments of Locate to Create, two lovely ladies who have an array of props to choose from, definitely worth a call if you need anything.

So onto the flowers and balloon styling, on both my shoots with Gwenda from Botanical we work closely together on colour, because lets face it, if we get it wrong then that’s the whole photo-shoot doomed! So Gwenda came up with the St Clements mood board on Pinterest and we followed that colour palet, discussing balloon combinations beforehand. I arrived the night before to install my garland so I knew that it would be ready for the early start the next day. When I arrived the day of the shoot I was blown away with the flowers, stationery by Rae Designs and cake by Ever After Wedding Cakes, wow, wow, wow, I was in love with the big sunflowers. What myself and Gwenda both neglected to tell eachother was that we added more orange, so it was a surprise to both of us and it worked so well (hope you all agree).

It was another spectacular shoot, with photographer Michaelangelo www.bymichaelangelo.co.uk
